Attic Insulation in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Stillwater

Attic Insulation - OKC, Tulsa, or Stillwater

Installing fiberglass attic insulation will save you up to 40% on your annual heating and cooling expenses, foaming your attic with spray foam insulation can save you as much as 70%.  The attic takes the greatest brunt of exterior temperatures and without proper thermal protection, hot air or cold air building in the attic can easily transfer into the living spaces of the house, making it more difficult to keep cool in the summertime and warm in the winter.

Energy lost is money lost, but attic insulation is the best way to create a more energy efficient and money-saving home. Call our team today if you would like to discuss attic insulation options. We offer attic insulation in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Stillwater, Enid, Guthrie, Ponca City, Woodward, and other surrounding areas.

Types of Attic Insulation for Stillwater, Oklahoma City, and in Tulsa

Our company uses two types of attic insulation, fiberglass or spray foam. Depending upon the type of protection that you prefer for your home, you can choose to use one or the other.

Fiberglass Insulation - In unfinished spaces, many homeowners choose to have blown-in fiberglass insulation installed over the floors of their attics. This approach is highly effective, and it can even be performed without removing any of the insulation that was previously installed.

Spray Foam Insulation - For homeowners that want the absolute maximum performance, spray foam insulation is the best option. Unlike blown-in fiberglass, spray foam is applied to the rafters of the roof.  Spray foam insulation is used to completely seal the attic from exterior temperatures.  A typical residential home will be installed with 5-6 inches of open cell insulation (R-value of 10 per inch after factoring in conduction, convection, and sealing abilities)  in the attic space.  However, closed cell can be used.  While closed cell is a bit more expensive, it has an R-Value of 10 per half inch (after factoring in conduction, convection, and its sealing abilities) and is the best type of insulation on the market, usually being installed anywhere from 2 to 3 inches thick.

Solid Performance Through Oklahoma's Hot Summers and Cold Winters

Regardless of which type of thermal protection you choose, you are guaranteed energy savings and greater comfort. The fiberglass and spray foam products that we use are fabricated to provide top-notch performance, and they are also formulated to be safer for you and our environment.

  • Fiberglass insulation is produced without the use of harsh chemicals.
  • Spray foam insulation is so durable and energy efficient that it conserves energy, which reduces greenhouse gases.
